Lotus Thai Restaurant and Spa is located near Arusha airport in a secluded plot of land that has been developed to resemble South East Asian architecture. The staff are extremely welcoming and the ambiance is serene with private dining tables, fish ponds and flora.

I’ve personally not been to the spa, but they have opened a restaurant in the same compound. The Thai food there is probably the best I’ve tasted in Tanzania and Kenya. The looks really lovely and its good for couples and families. Peaceful environment.

The food was outstanding and well prepared in fairly large portions. They offer traditional Thai dishes as well as Indian and Chinese cuisine. I would definitely recommend trying their spring rolls as a starter dish! Can’t wait to go again!
It was really nice! One of the best meals I had in Arusha. It really reflects the Thai culture and serve a lot of great Thai food, prices are really low compared to the quality. Very recommended.
